Blog Book

Now I don't have to feel guilty about not scrapbooking and not keeping a detailed journal. My blog has become the "catch all"...scrapbook, journal, and family history. And thanks to Jolayne for letting me know about blurb.com, I have now created my first blog book. It was easy and fun to make and the price was reasonable (does this sound like a commercial?). I learned a few things that I would do differently when I create my 2008 blog book, such as go for the bigger book (this one is the 7x7 square book), and not to put more than 2 pictures per page.

I love the look of one picture per page. Four to a page is definitely too much and the pictures are too small to see much detail.

This is the back cover to our first blog book.

Very cool! That is a great idea. Maybe I would update my blog more often if I did that . . .

That is too funny. I just got mine back a few weeks ago and I love it. i went with the bigger one (8x11ish) and I do think that is the way to go. I think when it is that big, 3 or 4 pics are ok. The full page pics are my favorite too. My mom had the fab idea of making two copies so I will be able to give Allie and Regan both one (since I have not done a good job with baby books or scrapbooks) so that is what i am doing!!

That is so awesome!! Blogging is a little easier for me than scrapbooking. I can't wait to have enough to get my blog printed!

Thanks for the tips! I actually already created a blog book, but I made the 7x7 one and I think I'll redo it in the larger format now. It's so fun putting it together huh!?
