No, I didn't cry!
Today was Bella's first day of pre-school. The school is in my neighbor's basement (our backyards are literally back to back) so it wasn't too scary walking Bella around the corner and dropping her off at a trusted friend's house. Bella was so excited so you can imagine how long our morning was awaiting the start of her afternoon class.
In the 2.5 hours she was gone today, I was able to go grocery shopping in peace (Ez doesn't know how to beg for candy yet) and get some things done around the house while Ez took a nap. It was GLORIOUS!!! Bella loved her first day of school today and well, let's be honest, Mama loved it, too!
Bella and her BFF, Sophie, are in the same class.

Ooo...yes, isn't it lovely??
What???? No crying???? Okay so I did cry a bunch but now it has rubbed off and it is "glorious" as you say. John asked if Kellan could go to night school too. It is quite nice going to the store and not listening to them beg. I told John that it is nice to hear myself think again.
That second picture is too awesome.
Good Times! It's amazing isn't it how they are so ready for a structured teaching environment. And how wonderful it is to get stuff done ..without them!!!Hooray for school!
Isn't it FABULOUS?? I love my kids but it's just so nice to be able to "downsize" for a couple of hours 3 days a week. Preschool is just as much for the moms as it is for the kids!
SOOOO CUTE!!!!
It really is amazing how much easier it is to run errands with one less kid.....no matter how many kids you have one less seems like such a big deal. Yeah for Bella, I am glad you both did well!
I love seeing your kids grow. Lincoln goes back to preschool tomorrow and we are both really looking forward to it. The second picture is priceless.
Hey Tirsa! Did you know I teach preschool in my basement too! I love it. My Cameron was a ham today but he loves having his friends here for school. Christy
What a fun day for you and Bella. I can't wait until Gracie is old enough to go (and potty trained). She looks so cute and grown up.
