It was a zoo...at the zoo.
Did anyone else happen to go to the zoo yesterday? I swear half of Colorado was there. Blaine was supposed to be studying yesterday but Bella's ballet and music class were canceled and it was supposed to be in the 70s so I thought it would be a perfect day for the family to go to the zoo. Apparently I wasn't the only one with that thought though. I have never seen so many people at the zoo...it looked like Disneyland. It took us forever to find parking and when we did, it was a least a mile away in a neighborhood. When we got to the front, I asked them if it was a one of their free days or something and they said, "No, just spring break." We don't have kids in school yet so spring break means nothing to us and I think my town's spring break is next week anyway. Last night the zoo craziness even made the news. Regardless of the crowds, it was still nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful, sunny day. I thought Ez would eventually fall asleep in the stroller but I think he was so excited to be outdoors after a lifetime (his lifetime, of course) of being inside, so he just people watched the whole time. And, as it turns out, I bet hardly anyone is at the zoo today. Yesterday it was 76 degrees and today it is raining/snowing. Gotta love Colorado weather.

When we went last week it was packed. Spring Break for us here. You can tell that Ezra is all boy...they love to be outside!
Remember spring break last year when you came to Oklahoma? We parked far away (or at least we thought). But it didn't seem too crowded. When we went with Rial, Emily, Steve, Kelli and the kids, it was packed! We parked farther away than last year. It must be the thing to do during spring break. Love the family picture!
I hear ya on the weather!!! I woke up yesterday morning and wanted to cry seeing the snow on the ground!!! They tease you with those 76 degree days.
The zoo is way better than studying!! good choice Blaine.
Dejavu! Thats exactly what happened in OKC last weekend...Oh I see ML already said that.
What cute pictures! Also congrats on the sealing date. I totally got chills when I saw that!
What a fun time for the family. Weather...try Chile. The nights and mornings are getting really cold. Winter is coming!!! So glad you were able to get out.
